Railroad Ties Add Rustic Charm.

They have a look all their own––massive chunks of sturdy wood, recycled from pathways of historic travel.

In landscapes they can be used as dependable retainer walls, or as steps. Use them as handy risers to contain soil for raised planting beds. Make a sturdy fire-pit  bench. They can be cut with a chain saw to length, giving quick flexibility to any design and can even be organized into upright clusters of varying length to make your own free-form landscape accents.

For construction use, we also carry special spikes and re-bar to fasten railroad ties together for added strength. We’re glad to show you how it’s done. Just ask.
